British singer/songwriter Morrissey has collaborated with PETA to star in the charity's Holidays Are Murder on Turkeys campaign.

The Spent the Day in Bed hitmaker has also recruited PETA members to hand out fliers, featuring a cartoon image of the vegetarian music icon, to fans as they leave his US shows, including performances at the Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden. PETA Vice President Dan Mathews commented 'We hope this unique artwork will end up on refrigerators across the country as a reminder that animals shouldn’t be sacrificed for holiday feasts'.
